Rahul Gandhi or Narendra Modi?

Rahul Gandhi is obvious leader of the congress party and this fact has been known since years but now the party has taken one step forward projecting him the unanimous choice for the Prime Ministerial candidate by making him Vice President of the organisation. Till now he was mobilizing the youth of the country and establishing the direct rapport with the remotest people through his visits. Meanwhile he did fail many times to prove himself as a clean finisher during the elections. For example Uttar Pradesh from where largest number of MPs and MLAs compare to other states. Inspite of putting in every possible effort Congress lost to Akhilesh Yadav led SP. Where words of Rahul Gandhi proved as exaggeration and nothing Akhilesh did the work on ground level and picked the right issues. This is enough to make of that words will not do for the common man. Words cannot feed them, it cannot provide them shelter, cannot assure them for their children's education. The difference between BJP and Congress from the 2014 general election point of view is that congress will project the leader who will come up with consensus among the alliance and internally in the party too. But in case of BJP no single leader is seem to be getting the privilege of getting elected unanimously. Although with few opposition coming from the party members Narendra Modi is being projected as the strong candidate for upcoming election. whereas outside BJP he doesn't hold much ground because Bihar's Chief Minister Nitish Kumar who is known as his staunch opponent has publicly made statements on Modi that if BJP would project him as candidate then in that case JD(U) will have no option but back out. Other regional party and long time member of NDA, BJD's Navin Patnayak too doesn't have much to offer Modi. After the exit of Nitin Gadkari the way has become a bit easier for Modi because now he has got a helping hand in Rajnath Singh. So if he has to be in the forefront in the race of prime ministerial candidate then he will have to talk more to his opponents than to friends.

Review Of "Table No. 21"

Table No. 21 manly inspired by the television reality show Sach Ka Samna hosted by the lead actor of the movie Rajeev Khandelwal. Here Paresh Rawal once again emerges as a genius actor. The shift from the comic role of OMG to the cruel and mean host of the show in this movie is laudable. This movie is testimony of his brilliance in acting. Basically this movie presents a game show which has tricky questions and the players Rajeev and Tena who are couple on vacation have to answer it right. If they lie with the help of lie detector they will be caught. And the amount which is at stake is 21 crore. They get allured by the prize money.  Initially everything goes well but as the personal question from past comes up and they have no option but to speak truth otherwise will lose 21 crore here movie picks momentum. The interesting question and equally interesting answers will keep you engaged. For sure it will not give you enough time to think of popcorn or sort of stuff you might be holding on hand. Very important thing songs have not been crammed in the movie which has helped it to maintain its pace. Rajeev Khandelwal since Amir has been tremendous performer, he instills life in intense scene sequences. Tena Desai has done complete justice to her role. She has made her mark with acting and looked gorgeous too in bikini. No character in the movie will be seen doing overacting that's the beauty of it. In the end movie comes up with the lesson which makes great sense. The star director of the bollywood must be envious of the movie which has fared so well with little budget. Hence a good script will always be soul of any movie and good performance of the characters instills life in it.
For those who believe in script and performances its a treat catch it soon.

Review Of "Race 2"

As usual one more thriller from the stable of director brother Abbas-Mustan. This time too they have managed to keep pace in the Race. The USP of the movie is its unpredictability. Every scene carries with it sense of something unusual is going to happen and that is the trademark of the directors which they have maintained since Baazigar and Khiladi. The flashy vehicles, exotic location, stylish dressings all tell you that a good deal of budget has been injected in the movie. Basically this is a revenge story. Ranbir (Sif Ali Khan) has to settle past scores with Rehman Malik (John Abraham) and the whole story revolve around this two characters trying to outsmart each other. Let's start with the lead actor of the movie Sai Ali Khan, he has done justice to his role like earlier but in Race 2 we see Ranbir with a change of personality. In R1 we had seen him as intense elder brother with serious dialogues whereas here we find him a little more casual who sometimes tries to do comedy.Chase scene of him is one of the attraction point of the movie. In terms of looks he again emerges as a killer like the earlier one. John too has not disappointed with his performance. For the lover of hulk John a cage fight scene can be a eye candy. Anil Kapoor has been able to make the audience laugh through his witty sentences. He never looks like 50+ man behind the french beard. All the three ladies of the movie seem more like showpiece. Depeeka Padukon who looks hot throughput the movie but in the acting front there is nothing to watch put from all 3 of them. Especialy Amisha Patel is disaster in every scene.Unwanted and unnecessary song make the thing worst for the audience. There is not a single number which you can hum for longer time.At the end story is left open for the next sequal and hope Abbas-Mustan will get us a competitive RACE that time. If we compare Race 2 from the earlier version it lags way behind in the race. Overall a good entertaining and popcorn movie. If you like stylish movie and don't care much about the script you can spare your 2 hours and 26 minutes.

Where Greatness Lies- Sachin or Ponting?

Finally Punter bids adieu to International Cricket on the the backdrop of ongoing series between Australia and South Africa. Australians should have been thinking to give him a farewell with win in the series. But it seems preety difficult as Africa is going very hard through it's seemers are on fire and batsmen faring eceptionally well specially Smith and Amla. During his 17 years long career Ponting has amassed more than 27000 international runs. His runs embedded with 71 centuries made against almost every cricketing nation in the world. He is the only individual to be involved in 100 plus test victories and the most successful captain in the history with 48 wins to his credit. Never remained far from the controversies whether it was monkeygate or sledging on the field he made his presence felt. The whole world accepted his astute leadership and ability to beat the opponents with his enigmatic traps. The tough competititor and a great cricketer. Indians still must be recalling the ill-fated final of 2003 worldcup when he single handedly snatched the cup from the indians. It is not only his records who make him great but his efforts to make Australia win the game. Sachin Tendulkar on the other hand holds almost every batting record but when it comes to his contribution to the teams office, His records look dull and just appears as a stats on the paper.Ofcourse Sachin has more than 100 centuries but when we analyse closely his performance overseas, His reputatation as master batsman doesn't stand for him anymore. We up to many extent have become used to of idolizing any particular individual. And in the cricket maniac nation its no surprise. In anyway the part played by Sachin in the Indian cricket or even in International arena can't be underestimated. He is the one who took cricket to newer heights. Now it has become a global sports not limited to any particular region. Somewhat credit goes to Sachin who is known globally and admired for his sports ethics too. As far as the comparison between Sachin and Ponting goes. Tough to choose anyone as the winner. As a batsman nobody is close to Sachin but when it comes to the Cricketer who leads it is obviously Punter.

Mr Perfectionist- Amir Khan

The man who has been reigning bollywood for more than 20 years, and has entertained us all the while with his meaningful cinema. One of the 3 Khans, Bollywood is being dominated by. Mr perfectionist Amir Khan over the years has evolved as a very matured actor, Rang De Basanti, 3 Idiots, Taare Zameen Par are the testimony of his acting caliber. He is one of the very few actors of Bollywood who can storm the box office with a windfall collection and show the sense in to the movies he offers to viewers. He assures that audience takes something out with them. In the time when the only equation of Entertainment+Entertainment+Entertainment works Amir provides the blend of entertainment and learning. His influence over the audience was more evident when he made his television debut with Satyamev Jayate. People connect with him very easily. He took up many issues in the national interest which are rampant in the society and causing a terrible damage. Through just 12 episodes of Satyamev Jayate he unfolded many untold stories of the deprived and cornered ones. The show unraveled the flaws of the society and gave us the real picture of our hypocrisy. He has come again after 3 years to embellish the silver screen with “Talaash” which is said to be a suspense thriller. Let’s see what new Mr perfectionist has this time to offer.

Mumbai Police Fiddles With Facebook: Arrests 2 Girls

India unlike China is democratic country where freedom of speech is being preserved for the citizens. In China the government can at any point of time muzzle the media or anybody who seems to be intervening in to the communist ambit. It also happens in Pakistan where the people who have talked openly against the extremists or any forced tradition have either been the victim of society itself or the governments not being able to protect them. India has always been showcased itself as open and liberal country where people can express what they think but the recent arrest of 2 girls in Mumbai turns it all as a mere bragging words. These 2 girls were treated like criminals for just posting what they think is right on the Facebook. Few morons in police department have sent waves across the users of social networking sites that posting truth can get them land up in to the jail. Tragic!!! More of a inability of the Mumbai police to handle the angry mob over the posting on Facebook. This seems more to be trying to appease someone by victimizing someone else. Obviously the death of Mr Bala Saheb was tragedy for not only to Mumbai but for entire India. He was the man who worked really hard for the rights of Marathis and even made a mark on Indian politics. Sort of iconic personality he was.But what these girls have expressed cannot be ignored. Thanks to Supreme court who has intervened at the right time.Well due to the ridiculous and insensible act of few policemen i am not going to stop posting what i think RIGHT.

Flocks Of Indian Fiction Writers

India has recently got transformed on the literature arena with the likes of Chetan Bhagat, Amish Tripathi,Arvind Adiga, Ashwin Sanghi and of course the one of the youngest stars of the country Durjoy Dutta known for adding sex flavour in most of his books, all have established themself as a successful writer and relishing the huge reader base.Even from the remotest part of the country where the government welfare policies couldn't reach the work of these writers have touched them influenced them too. Chetan Bhagat with his best seller books 5 point someone, 3 mistakes of my life, 2 states and Revolution 2020 has made a mark on Indian literature world. His simple yet flawless style of storytelling touches the right cord and entertain people too. Bollywood flick 3 idiot was the adaptation of 5 point someone which went on to became the biggest grosser when it got released. Amish Tripathi who sold the millions of copies from "The immortals of meluha" and "The secret of nagas". His next "The oath of vayuputras is yet to release. Arvind Adiga has won booker prize for his work on "The white Tiger". Ashwin Sanghi has won million hearts for "The krishna key" and "The Chanakya Chants". Last but not the least to talk about is Durjoy Dutta who has authored 6 books till now, the last book was "You were my crush...Till you said i love you".I don't understand why usually he goes with long title. Although it has worked for him till date. Anyway currently i am reading his You were my crush and believe me this is the fantastic work ever produced by him. Here he has not tried to cram the sex part unnecessarily. More and more writers are trying their hand in to the story telling every year and also getting noticed. Which makes the huge pool of young readers gravitated towards them. Their quality of work makes us read them and somewhere i do believe their work act as a stimulation for the readers. They are being educated from the flocks of talented writers.
